New Weather Station

    Hi, I have just invested in a new British weather station which is not listed in the AWEKAS approved stations. This station is the InstroMet Plus with Datalogger. (https://instrometweathersystemsltd.bigcartel.com/product/metplus ) This is not a mimicked station, but completely built in the UK. How do I apply to have this Weather Station added to the Awekas list of stations? InstroMet have sent me ‘Details of commands used to communicate between Datalogger & host PC’ which I can make available. I will be connecting this Weather Station to a MeteoBridge Pro and they are currently adding it to their list of stations.

    Hi!

    I don't know this weather station. However, from the pages found on Google, it seems that it should work.

    You need a computer that is connected to the base of the weather station via RS232.
    Cumulus MX (CMX) must be installed on this computer and the data transmission to Awekas must be configured in CMX.
    Read this and that.

    Unfortunately, I haven't found anything in the MeteoBridge environment. But of course you can ask directly in advance.

    Boris is already adding this weather station to the Meteobridge list of stations and I will be connecting through MeteoBridge, not Cumulus MX.

    My issue is in setting up an Awekas account for this weather station. Unless I entre a station Type and Report Mode then I cannot proceed to 'Information'.

    Can this Weather Station be added to Awekas or is there a generic MeteoBridge connection?

    Any help would be appreciated.
