With the new Station's Web 2.0 it is now possible to add Station's Web as an app to your favourite devices. More precisely, the new app is a so-called "progressive web app". The functional scope and the features of the progressive web app is compareable with "customary" apps - the only difference lies in the installation of both app types. The new Station's Web app cannot be downloaded from Play Store or Apple Store, but is directly installed from any Station's Web website.

    Using Android (Google Chrome):

1.) Please open Google Chrome browser and go to your desired Station's Web page. On the bottom of the page, a pop-up will show. Click "AWEKAS zum Startbildschirm hinzufügen"

3.) You now get to decide, if you'd like to add a shortcut to your desktop and if the app should be opened automatically when turning on your PC. After you have made your choices, click "Zulassen"

    On Firefox browser:

Unfortunately, Firefox does not support progressive web apps by default. If you'd still like to install the app from Firefox, you need to install a addon first. Alternatively, you can simply use other web browsers such as Chrome and Edge.

Tutorials for Safari browser and iOS may be added in the future. Stay tuned!
