  • AWEKAS - Transfert des données pour les graphiques

    Quel que soit le logiciel utilisé ou le mode de transfert utilisé, il n'est pas possible de récupérer les données passées et non envoyées vers AWEKAS. Nous n'allons pas lire sur les ordinateurs des membres pour récupérer leurs données météo.

    En cas d'envoi par push ou directlink, vous créez le fichier et l'envoyer directement à AWEKAS. Il faut donc être connecté.

    En cas de lecture sur votre site web par AWEKAS, nous lisons un seul fichier qui porte toujours le même nom avec les mises à jour de votre logiciel. Nous ne pouvons donc pas retrouver les données passées puisqu'elles sont écrasées à chaque mise à jour.

    Bonsoir Florent,

    Les données sont reçues ou "captées" sur votre site web au fil de l'eau. C'est à dire en temps réel. Il n'y a pas de système de récupération des données passées et non envoyées à AWEKAS. Par quel logiciel envoyez-vous vos données?

    Si vous souhaitez avoir des données en continu sans passer pas votre PC et pour faire de substantielles économies d'électricité regarder un mode de transfert par un mini-serveur de type Alix 1D ou une unité de stockage réseau de type NAS, le plus simple est le NLSU2. J'ai personnellement un Alix qui tourne 24/24 et consomme moins de 3 W, soit approximativement 27kWh par an ou environ 4 € par an . Cette consommation est ridicule devant celle d'un PC qui est au minimum de 100 à 150W, soit 1095 kWh par an sur une base de125W. Vous économisez au minimum 1050 kWh par an ou environ 150 €. Il y a un an et demi, j'ai investi 175 € acheté un Alix 1D chez Varia-Store en Allemagne auquel vous pouvez adjoindre le logiciel intégré Meteohub. Le système est très vite amorti.

    Regardez également le site Meteohub (en anglais) qui offre d'autres solutions, dont une où il propose un service d'abonnement à un prix tout à fait correct.

  • AWEKAS - Any chance of a "British System"? [solved]

    No Ostrong, his claim is logical.

    The UK has officially an exception from the European Community for pint and mile instead of liter and km. The weather units are all in metric system except the windspeed , which is always in mph while visibility is in km! It is the "British differentiation" from all of the rest of Europe and more generally the world, except USA.

    Consequently, creating a new units system will be a big work for only one unit: winspeed, hence my reply.

    Don't be disappointed. It is easy to request an amendment, not so simple to achieve it each time. Believe me if we can give satisfaction to our members : we do it. We attempt to favourably fulfill your wishes when possible.

    Adapting the windpseed in mph is not a duplication of the metric system with substitution of kph for mph. It is a very big work because you have a lot of imbrications between the database and the webpages. It is not only the instrument panel page. It is also weather overview map, windspeed map with the pop-ups attached and all of the comparison system with the data quality control as well as tables, alarm, etc... Moreover, we have to expand the database.

    It is not only the transfer of the windspeed from American units to a British system or a link between both systems.

    As you in another post, I will be maybe a little ironic. I would like to remember the metric system is normally compulsory in UK. But, the Bristishs succeed in doing permanently deviation to standard. Having worked a long time in your country, two measures are still an exception to the Rule. The pint for the beer and the mile for the road network!

    For the weather system, all the units are given in metric system, including visibility in km. The only one exception is the windspeed. Please could you agree to use globally and legally the metric system as your other UK weather fellows. We do not intend to create a new one special feature for the sole UK windspeed.

  • AWEKAS - Locking out of my data [solved]

    Hello Hewy,

    Please indicate your ID or station name as requested for assistance on the next time. I remember your nickname for finding the station only because I solved your first problem about pressure and temperature.

    Please, could you be keep your calm. I am not the locking administrator and the one who has locked had totally reason with uncorrect value sent to AWEKAS.

    After checking, only your rain sensor is locked. Could you explain me why you are angry? Please look at the snapshot, you will agree your rain data are not good even if there were downpours only above your home. Moreover this problem is repeated since last October.

    Your station is a Lacrosse WS2315, have you checked your data transfer? It is often the problem with the cells or a memory stack. Reset your station after having done a backup of your data stored in your station.

    And again, thank in advance for keeping your calm when the administrator's action is absolutely logical.

    Depuis le 24/09/2011 l'adresse IP du serveur d'AWEKAS a été changée.

    Si vous avez configuré votre pare-feu (firewall) ou un programme particulier avec l'ancienne adresse, merci de la mettre à jour avec la nouvelle adresse du serveur.

    L'ancienne adresse 62.218.36.210 est remplacée par cette nouvelle adresse IP 109.68.105.30

    Les pages Web https://www.awekas.at/for2/../ ont été automatiquement mises jour avec les entrées DNS. Vous pouvez vérifier votre paramétrage en utilisant le lien https://www.awekas.at/for2/../ pour vous connecter.

    Rules for registering an account, follow-up and termination

    The AWEKAS and AWEKAS Forum accounts are absolutely not linked between them. You have two totally separate accounts without connection. It is for that it is important to precise your station identifier when requesting help on AWEKAS Forum, see AWEKAS - How to request help and assistance on this forum. The ID is visible on the station information page. It is also the number indicated at the end of URL address in your browser after id= when you are on the web pages of your station

    An AWEKAS account is in relation with one and only one weather station. If you wish put several stations on line, you shall have to register as many accounts as stations really in your ownership. If you want delete an account definitively, please request it by sending an e-mail to mail@@@awekas.at (remove two at signs in the address).

    An AWEKAS account is permanent to the concerned weather station. If you move, the account is linked to the station whatever the location and the country. All you need is to update your coordinates and location in your AWEKAS user profile. Please, do not create a new registration if your home is changed or even your country. Only upgrade your user profile.You can change the various fields mainly the station name with location and geographical coordinates as well as elevation. If you change for a new weather device or replace it, simply upgrade the type of your weather station and possibly the transfer mode. It is the same thing if you replace your software, update your transfer mode.

    An AWEKAS account is defined by user name and password. The user names are also single. You cannot have two AWEKAS registrations with the same user name. On the other hand, the passwords can be identical for various user names.

    An AWEKAS Forum account is defined by user name and password. The user names are also single. You cannot have two AWEKAS Forum registrations with the same user name. On the other hand, the passwords can be identical for various user names. You can also have an identical user name on AWEKAS and AWEKAS Forum at the same time, if not already used for one of them, but you will have two separate accounts.


    To put a weather station on line, you have to register for AWEKAS .

    To participate in exchanges and help, you have to register for AWEKAS Forum .

    Les comptes d’AWEKAS et d’AWEKAS Forum ne sont absolument pas liés entre eux. Vous avez deux comptes totalement distincts et sans aucun lien. C’est pour cela qu’il est important de préciser l’identifiant de votre station lorsque vous demandez de l’aide sur AWEKAS Forum, voir Comment demander de l'aide sur ce forum. Il est indiqué par ID dans la page d’information de la station. Ce sont également les chiffres indiqués à la fin de l’adresse URL de votre navigateur après id= lorsque vous êtes sur les pages de votre station.

    Un compte AWEKAS est lié à une et une seule station météorologique. Si vous souhaitez mettre en ligne plusieurs stations météo, vous devrez créer autant de compte AWEKAS que de stations météo physiquement possédées. Si vous désirez supprimer un compte définitivement, merci d’en faire la demande en adressant un courriel à mail@@@awekas.at (enlever deux arobases de l’adresse)

    Un compte AWEKAS est permanent pour la station concernée. Si vous déménagez, le compte lié à votre station lui reste attaché quels que soient le lieu et le pays. Il vous suffit de mettre à jour les lieux et coordonnées géographiques dans le profil utilisateur de votre compte AWEKAS. Merci de ne pas créer un nouveau compte si votre domicile a changé, voire votre pays. Mettez simplement votre profil à jour. Vous pouvez changer les différents champs principalement le nom de votre station avec lieu et les coordonnées géographiques ainsi que l'élévation. Si vous changez de station météo ou si vous la remplacez, mettez simplement à jour le type de la station et éventuellement le mode de transfert. Il en est de même si vous changez de logiciel, mettez à jour votre mode de transfert.

    Un compte AWEKAS est défini par un couple nom d’utilisateur et mot de passe. Les noms d’utilisateur sont eux aussi uniques. Il ne peut pas y avoir deux comptes AWEKAS avec le même nom d’utilisateur, même si les mots de passe sont différents.     Un compte AWEKAS Forum est défini par un couple nom d’utilisateur et mot de passe. Les noms d’utilisateur sont eux aussi uniques.     Hello,

    In order to understand a little bit more your problem and as I am not the locking administrator for your sensors, please could you give me your station ID written on the station information page or the station name. I have no direct link between the forum and the weather database to find your station among near 6000 !

    Do not lose patience, we must find a solution.
