New Additions to the Stationsweb 3.3 public test
A new preview version of AWEKAS Stationsweb is now available for testing at https://stationswebtest.awekas.at
While waiting and collecting data about the currently running test version, we also decided to include features originally planned for the next major update into this preview release. This allows users to test and provide feedback on these new functions earlier than originally scheduled.
Overhauled ‘Home’ Page
This release introduces several long-awaited improvements and usability enhancements requested by the community.
Widgets are now automatically organized by groups to provide a cleaner and more intuitive overview. For example, all temperature-related measurements are grouped together, making it easier to find relevant data at a glance.
Another major addition is the new custom layout and ordering system. Station operators can now fully customize the arrangement of homepage widgets directly in the station operator settings. This allows every station to create a layout that best fits their preferences and priorities.
The widgets overall design has been slightly refined to provide a cleaner appearance and a better user experience. For example, the precipitation widget now includes a dedicated dialog that displays more detailed and easier-to-read precipitation information across multiple time spans.

The new grouped layout makes it possible to add new widgets in the future without overcrowding the layout.
