New Stationsweb 3.3 public test and searchable Stationsweb help

Help Pages Now Live on the Main Site

We are happy to announce that the AWEKAS Stationsweb help pages have been integrated directly into the main website. All documentation and support resources are now accessible in one central place. You can find them here: Stationsweb Help

We have also added the help pages to the site-wide search, making it easier to find.

Stationsweb 3.3 — New Test Version Available

A new test version of Stationsweb is now live and available for the community to explore!

This release focuses primarily on improvements happening behind the scenes. Through significant technical rework, the new version delivers:

  • Improved menu layout — the side-menu is now easier to use. The option to permanently show it on large displays is now accessible directly in the menu itself.
  • Component updated — components like the map have been updated to their newest version.
  • Faster page load times — pages render more quickly, even under heavy data loads.
  • Faster server responses — data requests are handled more efficiently throughout.

While the changes may not all be immediately visible, the result is a noticeably snappier and more responsive experience overall.

Sunshine Hours

Effective immediately, sunshine hours are being evaluated directly by the Meteo/Awekas Bridge and transferred to the Station Web. This update is now available in the main version. A restart of the Bridge may be required in some cases. A solar sensor is required for this feature.

Try It Now

Due to the thorough changes we test the changes in the Stationsweb test instance to catch edge case bugs. The test version is available at:

stationswebtest.awekas.at

The test version will remain live for at least one week, or until all reported issues have been resolved. After that, the changes will roll out to the main Stationsweb instance (web and app).

New Languages on the AWEKAS Website

We added the following languages to the AWEKAS website: Italian, Polish, and Slovenian! These languages have long been supported in Stationsweb, and we’ve now added them to the reworked main website as well — making AWEKAS more accessible to even more of our community across Europe.
