I can confirm everything Anthraxer says. I have just successfully updated the FW in my WSX3001 weatherstation from v. 1.09 to v. 2.07. I got the full instructions as well as links to the appropirate files from the Bresser service department, and maybe I could post the links and instruction here if you think it's ok to do so? Otherwise, just drop an email to info at bresser dot de to get help from their service department directly.
However, I ran into one obstacle when updating the firmware. For some reason, it's impossible to do the update with the latest Firefox browser. I got "File Error" everytime I tried to start the update. I then switched to Chrome, and it worked like a charm. I just needed to re-enter the path, account and passwords to the weather sites + the timezone after the update was finished, so it's a tip to take a screendump of the Setup page before you start.

Ich habe die vollständige Anleitung sowie die Links zu den entsprechenden Dateien von der Bresser-Serviceabteilung erhalten, und vielleicht kann ich die Links und die Anleitung hier posten, wenn Sie meinen, dass das in Ordnung ist? Andernfalls können Sie auch eine E-Mail an info at bresser dot de schicken, um direkt Hilfe von der Serviceabteilung zu erhalten.
Beim Aktualisieren der Firmware bin ich allerdings auf ein Hindernis gestoßen. Aus irgendeinem Grund ist es unmöglich, das Update mit dem aktuellen Firefox-Browser durchzuführen. Jedes Mal, wenn ich versuchte, die Aktualisierung zu starten, erhielt ich die Meldung "File Error". Ich habe dann zu Chrome gewechselt, und es funktionierte einwandfrei. Ich musste nur den Pfad, das Konto und die Passwörter für die Wetterseiten sowie die Zeitzone neu eingeben, nachdem das Update abgeschlossen war. Es ist also ein Tipp, einen Screenshot der Setup-Seite zu machen, bevor man beginnt.
