I have also attached a screenshot, but had to reduce size due to file limit....hope you can read it ok

Just as an aside to this....and maybe being a little picky....it's ironic that the location of the chap that writes the Cumulus weather software doesn't show on the default "Nothwest Europe" map, as he is just slightly too north at Sanday. His weather station often shows extreme wind conditions and it's a shame you have to scroll up to see it....or has Steve asked not to be included in the UK view :grinning_squinting_face:

In the UK our weather forecasts mix both the American & Metric systems, and it gets abit tedious clicking on the links to switch between the 2 to see values that are meaningful to me, and possibly many others of the same generation around the world that also use the same system.

For example here our forecasts are mostly shown in the following:

Wind measured in Miles Per Hour
    Temperature in Celcius or Centigrade
    Rainful in Milimeters

If not an extra link to see the different mixes, but perhaps default settings so it always shows the readings in certain formats.

To understand what I mean, take a look at the UK Met Office website: http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/we…k/se/se_latest_radar.html

Hi I am new here....nice idea and concept.

I have setup my account correctly I believe.....can I ask if the distance of 50-60km from other stations crosses borders?

As I am on the English coast, my nearest station appears to be across the channel in France at the moment......but this station isn't listed as a close station.

There is only one other station within reach of the 50-60km apparently, but looking at the map I would say there's a few more than that....Please see the attached image.

    My Station number is 8883

Here is a link to my page: http://www.awekas.at/en/instrument.php?id=8883

(A neighbour in Dover added their station upon my reccommendation as I was typing this)
