Weather stations with Wunderground transmission mode can be used for AWEKAS

    • Offizieller Beitrag

Stations where the server path for Wunderground transmission can be set can also be used for AWEKAS.

Please use following settings: (click for full view)

    Server Hostname: ws.awekas.at

    Path: /weatherstation/updateweatherstation.php?

Station ID: AWEKAS username (from registration)

Station Key: AWEKAS password (from registration)

    Port: 80

    Upload Interval: 60 seconds

The following stations have been tested:

    • Bresser Profi W-LAN Wetter Center 6in1
    • Bresser 6-in-1 WLAN Profi Wetterstation
    • Ecowitt HP2551
    • Ecowitt GW1000
    • Eurochron WH2900
    • Alecto WS-5500
    • Waldbeck Huygens-profi-wetterstation-6in1
  • I have an Alecto WS-5500 and there should be a "?" at the end of the path.

My outdoorunit sends every 16 seconds new data to the indoorunit. I have set the upload interval to 16 seconds for a more accurate meassurement (and it's working).

    Best regards,

  • Hi All,

I am disappointing with weather underground and unfortunately my Bresser weather station looks like works only with WU site.

I have this weather station https://www.bresser.de/en/Weat…onal-weather-station.html (i boutght it as 5-1 and not 6-1 as now bresser named it)

My weather station console setup doesn't like with photo in the first post.

Does anybody know if AWEKAS works with my station????

    thank you in advance

If you have the Bresser 7002560, you can use this manual: https://www.bresser.de/out/med…89c962416711b6390aa15.pdf

    Buena suerte.

    Hi!

The Fine Offset devices offer exactly ONE freely configurable forwarding destination.

If you need more, there are at least 2 ways - depending on your existing infrastructure and your knowledge of Linux/Raspi and Co:

With FOSHKplugin on a 24/7 Linux computer (or NAS) you can split the one destination into up to 100 destinations. FOSHKplugin acts as a kind of proxy - receives the data from the weather station and then sends it to any other destination.

Awekas can be reached via FOSHKplugin in both WU and API format. But other protocols (such as InfluxDB, UDP or MQTT) or programmes/services (CMX, WSWin, PWSDashboard, ...) are also supported.

Alternatively, you can buy a additional GW1000 at a very low price, which acts as an additional console that receives all the data from the sensors in the system via radio and enables an additional custom server target.

    Good luck!
